Well surprise my husband with what I thought was going to be such a magnificent gift -- and it was not. When I received the watch there was a big fresh out of package scratch on the front to the case. When asked why this was I was told it was part of the vintage look. NOT! Not a scratch in the brass looking surface. I thought, well guess we can live with that since the watch itself is so beautiful (from pictures on the shop's site, that is). Then the case over the face of watch doesn't open fully in order to be able to SEE THE WATCH face! My husband was trying to admire it gently and the glass covering over the mechanisms on the back of the watch fell off! And does cannot just place back on to stay! Just holding it in his hand, and it falls apart. I don't even know what brand of pocket watch this is! Terrible-Cheap!
